Can being stressed make you sick?
Being stressed can sometimes be good for you, especially in small amounts. It can motivate you to prepare for important events like tests or presentations.
It might also make you feel excited or nervous before a first date.
However, too much stress can be difficult to handle emotionally and even harm your physical health.
We all experience stress, and not all of it isn’t good.
Halle Berry stunned on the red carpet at the closing night of the Red Sea International Film Festival in Saudi Arabia, wearing an extraordinary Elie Saab gown from the Fall 2023 haute couture collection.
The dress, a lavish take on the "naked dress" trend, boasted a transparent mesh bodice adorned with intricate embroidered designs in gold, silver, and black sequins.
The ornate piece, featuring a high turtleneck, pointed shoulder pads, and a voluminous floor-length skirt, combined elements of Marie Antoinette and Joan of Arc for a truly remarkable haute couture creation.
Contrary to common belief, new research from the University of Pennsylvania's Annenberg Public Policy Center debunks the myth of an increased risk of suicide during the holiday season.
Analyzing national data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the study found that the winter holiday months exhibit lower daily suicide rates compared to the rest of the year.
In particular, December tends to have the lowest incidences of suicides annually, challenging the notion of a holiday-related spike in suicide risk.
