While plants are crucial to issues like sustainable agriculture and ecosystem stability, they remain underrepresented in One Health strategies. This disconnect, researchers warn, limits recognition of shared health challenges and blocks opportunities for collaboration. Integrating plant health more fully could help address key issues like pesticide risks, mycotoxins, invasive species, and biodiversity loss on a global scale.
